fruitman's chili farmchili
a farmer who's got a blog and some plants

Wow, can you believe it's almost the end of February already? Where does the time go? That's the life of a farmer, I guess. This year's chili seeds have been sprouting up the last two weeks, and there is not much else to do on the farm until mid-late April when the seedlings can be planted outdoors. What better time for another installment of Farmer Fridays, a time to kick back and relax after a long hard week on the farm. Featuring great recipes, articles, links and hilarious videos of ALL THINGS SPICY.

The World's HOTTEST Pepper?        There is a new king in town, and his name is Trinidad Moruga Scorpion. This blistering chili ousted the Ghost Pepper from the throne. With a heat the builds and BUILDS, even the researchers testing it won't dare try it for themselves.

Dave's Adjustable Heat Hot Sauce
If you are like me, you have countless bottles of hot sauce with varying levels of heat; something for everyone. Dave's tries to save you some space with a bottle that allows you to adjust the heat of this sauce from mild to extra hot! Pure genius.

Roasted Red Pepper & Potato Soup        It's February, and that can only mean one thing, soup's on! What better way to fill up than with a warm bowl of roasted red pepper and potato soup. This recipe is simple and would go great with a side of crusty Asiago baguette and a side salad.

This book has it all. From growing and harvesting to preserving and recipes; The Complete Chile Pepper covers all the bases. Includes profiles of the top 100 most popular chili pepper varieties. And at over 300 pages, it's a steal!
